AI and do-it-yourself

Why bang your head against the wall?

With today’s AI tools, a few minutes are enough to get something that looks like it really works.

  1. The trouble comes later

    • Indexing doesn’t work properly
    • The contact form stops working
    • An update breaks everything
    • Customer data isn’t protected
    • Nobody knows where to start fixing it

AI does what it is asked in the most straightforward way possible. And knowing what to ask, how to check it and how to fix it takes exactly the expertise you thought you could skip. The result, far too often, is weeks lost, frustration and a project to redo from scratch.

  2. A few euros a month, plenty of strings

The tools that cost a few euros a month are extremely limited and — something you only find out later — binding: the site or app you built with them can only exist on their platform, and only as long as you keep paying; you often can’t see the source code, can’t check whether it is well made or whether it meets data-protection law, and can’t move it anywhere else.

  3. Serious tools, real expertise

More serious, more expensive tools really can speed the work up, but they demand in-depth knowledge even more than before — just as having the best woodworking shop in the world is not enough if you don’t know how to use it to build something.

AI doesn’t replace the professional: it makes them more affordable

For a professional, on the other hand, AI is an extraordinary tool. It lets us work faster, automate the repetitive parts and focus our time on what really matters: designing well, checking quality, guaranteeing security and reliability over time. The work takes fewer hours than it used to, and so it costs less than it used to. Today, entrusting your site or app to a professional costs little more than you would spend trying to do it yourself, between subscriptions, attempts and hours of your own time. And the result is professional, it works, it lasts and it hits the target.

In short: it saves you money!

And there is one thing no AI can give you: a person to talk to.

Someone who listens to what you want to achieve, understands your business, advises you on what you hadn’t thought of and remains a point of reference when you need a change or something goes wrong.

Before losing time on a do-it-yourself project, write to us: we’ll tell you honestly what it takes, what it costs and how we can build it together.

With us the quote costs nothing; with do-it-yourself AI you pay even for the attempt.

A mountain hut at 2453 mLive · 2024

Rifugio Bozano

The website of the C.A.I. mountain hut in the Maritime Alps, at the foot of Corno Stella.

Booking requests, climbing routes, snow couloirs, trekking and prices — all in one bilingual site, built to load fast on the thin mobile connection you get at altitude. Dark theme first, because that is how you read a trail page at dawn.

Hotel & restaurant, VallorateLive · 2024

Fungo Reale

The site of a mountain inn in the Cuneo valleys: kitchen, rooms and activities.

A photographic, slow-scrolling site where the landscape does the selling. Content is fully bilingual and editable, with the restaurant menu and the hotel rooms driven from the database rather than hard-coded pages.

Energy, systems and technologyLive · 2023

Alpitec

Corporate site for an electrical-systems and photovoltaic company with 40+ years of history.

A clear, credible presentation of a technical company: what they do, who they are, and how to reach them — with the SEO and performance work that makes a B2B site actually get found.

Windows and doors, made to measureLive · 2023

Desderi Pietro Serramenti

Product catalogue and quote requests for a window manufacturer, in three languages.

The catalogue is the product: a structured, filterable set of window and door families, with a quote-request flow that turns a visitor into a lead. Italian, English and French, from the same content model.

Will it fly today?Live · 2025

Paragliding Kubernetes

A weather app for paraglider pilots: every takeoff, scored against live forecasts.

Our own product. It pulls forecast data for each takeoff in the western Alps, compares wind direction and speed against the takeoff's exposure, and tells you at a glance whether flying is possible. An installable PWA, deployed on Kubernetes — the name is not a joke.

A skydiving centre near MonvisoLive · 2022

Skydive Garz

A proof of concept for a redesign of the drop zone where we jump.

Tandem jumps, licence courses and information about the discipline, told with the footage that makes people book. A project close to home — we are among the jumpers.

Rooms, nature and culture in Valle MairaLive · 2026

Le Gaie Allegre

The website of a stone country house in Villar San Costanzo, at the mouth of the Valle Maira.

The home page is one continuous story, in the order a guest discovers the place: the house, the rooms, the sauna, the breakfast and what lies beyond the gate. It opens on the house’s own aerial films, summer or autumn, and on the experiences page the drone shot advances as you scroll, at the reader’s pace. Italian, English and French.
